TO MATCH OR NOT TO MATCH

Many beginner beaders really love to make matched sets of jewelry where the earrings match the bracelet that matches the necklace. Oftentimes, more experienced beaders will shy away from that, wanting each piece to be unique. I like to take an approach that falls between those two. Meaning, I like things to coordinate, but not necessarily look like a matched set. Chrysanthemum and Blooming Twine are two projects that illustration my point. They use the same beads, have similar floral themes, and would look lovely worn together, but they stand just as strong on their own as individual pieces.
